Provide First Aid and CPR
This course covers a broad range of topics to enable participants to confidently manage emergency situations, including providing care for the ill or injured until medical aid arrives. It is suitable for anyone who may be required to provide a first aid response, including CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
We also offer a refresher course for those who already hold a current first aid certificate issued within three years.
Upon successful completion of the course requirements, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for:
- HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID003 Provide first aid
The Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and the First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice recommend that you update your CPR skills every 12 months. HLTAID003 Provide first aid remains current for three years.

CPPFES2005A - Demonstrate First Attack Fire Fighting Equipment
This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to demonstrate the correct use of portable fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire blankets. The course covers:
- Identification and use of correct firefighting equipment
- Fire chemistry
- Firefighting mediums
- Emergency procedures
- Safety procedures when firefighting
- Demonstration and use of portable and fixed firefighting equipment
Upon successful completion of the course requirements, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for:
- CPPFES2005A Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
This course is Nationally Recognised Training delivered by SGS Australia Pty Ltd RTO #2646.
Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel & CPR
Our Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel and CPR training course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to rescue a person from low voltage equipment using a Low Voltage Rescue Kit and perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) if required.
The course covers:
- Preparation for a low voltage rescue
- Application of low voltage rescue procedures and techniques
- Rescuing a person who is hooked up to a switchboard or LV panel
- Performing CPR
Upon successful completion of the course requirements, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for:
- HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- UETTDRRF06 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
