SGS Provides GDP Certification to dnata Australia

In October 2019, we worked closely with dnata Australia to certify them with Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

dnata was the first cargo terminal operator in Australia to be awarded Good Distribution Practices (GDP) certification. The certificate covers the handling of time and temperature-sensitive healthcare products including pharmaceuticals, IVD and medical devices. Temperature controlled zones of 2-8 degrees C and 15-25 degrees C for healthcare acceptance and storage are on offer.

As Australia is an important origin and destination market for pharma, IVD and medical devices, dnata’s World Health Organisation (WHO) GDP certificate demonstrates their commitment to the healthcare airfreight supply chain across.

Through the certification, dnata offers partners the highest operating standards for time critical and temperature sensitive shipments. SGS’s GDP certification demonstrates the dnata is committed to quality in every aspect of their service, and to being a vital partner of the healthcare supply chain.

SGS is a globally recognised leader in certifications in the pharmaceutical sector. During the pharmaceutical GDP certification process, our highly-qualified auditors analyse the processes and policies, along with supply chain partners to ensure consistent delivery of quality products as intended pharmaceutical manufacturers.
